What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Plean?
Plean property owners choose from three survey types: Tree Condition Reports for general tree health, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender requirements and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and stability of individual trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request one to identify hazards and management needs before problems escalate.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuer identifies trees within influencing distance of the property. The report satisfies the requirements of major UK mortgage lenders before completion.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site into grades U, A, B or C. It sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Stirling Council requires this survey before granting planning permission on sites with trees.
