What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Drymen?
Three tree survey types serve Drymen: the Tree Condition Report for general health assessment, the Mortgage Tree Report for lender requirements, and the BS5837 survey for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and safety of a specific tree or group of trees. Homeowners, insurers and property managers request this report to identify decay, disease or structural defects.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuation flags trees near the property during a house purchase. This report satisfies the requirements of major UK lenders before completion.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 tree survey categorises every tree on site into four grades, sets root protection areas, and produces a tree constraints plan. Stirling Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
